The international scientific conference “Vienna Quantum Foundations Conference: Schrödinger Centenary” brings together experts from various fields of quantum information science.

The conference will take place from November 24 to 27, 2026, at the Austrian Academy of Sciences in Vienna. It commemorates the 100th anniversary of Erwin Schrödinger’s groundbreaking formulation of wave mechanics and highlights his enduring influence on modern physics. The aim of the event is to bring together leading scientists to discuss Schrödinger’s contributions and their continuing significance for quantum theory and related fields of research.

The 7th Quanta Workshop will also take place as part of the conference. This is a regular meeting of leading quantum scientists from Austria.
